词的用法。

复数后面都用are.
3.可数名词的复数：
（1）一般在名词的结尾加-s或-es构成复数形式
1）一般情况下加s.例如：books,flowers
2）以-s,-x,-sh,-ch结尾的加-es例如，buses,boxes,dishes,watches.
3)以辅音加y结尾的词变y为i,加es.元音加y结尾的词直接
加s,如：party--parties,city--cities,story—stories,boy--boys
monkey--monkeys,key--keys等.
4)以f或fe结尾的词,一般变f或fe为v,加es,如：wife--wives
knife-knives;thief-thieves
（2）以-o结尾的复数形式
1)以-o结尾的无生命的名词加-s例如，photos,pianos,zoos,kilos
radios,videos,
2）以-o结尾的有生命的名词加-es例如，potatoes,tomatoes
（3）含-man的名词的复数形式
1）由-man构成的复合词的复数形式例如，policeman--policemen
policewoman-policewomen;Frenchman—Frenchmen,
2）其他一些含-man的名词的复数形式例如，walkman-walkmans
不用：walkmen.
（4）单复数同形的名词.例如，aChinese--twoChinese,aJapanese--two
Japanese,asheep--twosheep,表示不同种
类的鱼,fish表示鱼肉时是不可数名词。
（5）名词单数变复数特殊变化也要逐个记得如：tooth---teeth,
goose---geese,foot---feet,child--children,mouse-mice等
4.不可数名词：
（1）只有单数形式。如：bread，tea，water，juice，milk···
（2）不能用不定冠词或数词直接修饰。如：arice（×），twojuice
（×）.
（3）能够用some，any，little，alittle，much，alotof来修饰不可
数名词。如：somemilk，alotoffood，apieceofbread
（4）用howmuch来询问数量的多少。如：Howmuchmilkisthere
inthebottle？可数名词的话就用Howmany来提问，如：How
manybooksarethereonthedesk?
（5）不可数名词作主语时谓语动词用单数，但是当不可数名词前
面有复数名词短语修饰时，谓语动词就要用复数。如：Thereis
somewaterintheglass.／Therearethreebottlesofwateronthe
table.
