二、课程设置的目的意义
本课程基于教育部大学英语教学指南的精神和关于加强中华优秀传统文化教育的精神而开设,为实现大学阶段中华优秀传统文化教育的总目标服务。课程教学以《易经》的核心内容为依托,选取国内外权威译本为参考教材,以权威国学讲座视频辅助自主学习,以英语为教学语言,以培养英语应用能力、增强跨文化交际意识、提升跨文化交际能力为目标,凸显“以内容为依托的英语学习”理念,体现大学英语课程工具性和人文性双重性质的有机统一。本课程将优秀传统文化思想和社会主义核心价值观有机纳入教学内容,充分挖掘大学英语课程丰富的人文内涵,旨在引导学生从思想上正确认识《易经》象、数、理立体化体系所包含的自强不息、厚德载物、阴阳平衡、以人为本、天人合一、和谐发展、诚信互动、谦逊礼让等等优秀传统文化思想内涵,消除卜卦算命的迷信思想;从情感上以开放的、积极的态度善待国学经典;从心理上正确因应世事变化;从技能上掌握卜卦演算程序和基本解卦方法,了解预测的本质意义,淡化世俗相术趋吉避凶的神秘色彩;从行动上传承和弘扬中华优秀传统文化。
三、课程的基本要求
1. 匪我求童蒙,童蒙求我:学生自主选修。
2. 自强不息:课前自主观看和学习指定的视频内容和英、汉文本内容,课中积极参与研讨,课后认真完成作业。
3. 厚德载物:尊重原作者、原译者的前提下,批判性地理解原文和赏析译文。

五、实践教学内容和基本要求
1. 第8次课为占卦解卦实践环节,讲课(含研讨)1学时,实践3学时。
2. 课前观看指定视频,了解占卦原则、方法、过程和解卦策略。课中学习《系辞传》中相关选段的汉英文本,练习运算操作,尝试解卦。
3. 学生需自备运算操作所需工具和材料。
