Suggest表示建议，用法如下：
1)suggest+n./pron。或suggest+n./pron。to+sb。,但不能说suggestsbsth
eg：Wesuggesthimtheplan(Χ）Wesuggesttheplantohim（√）
2）suggestdoingsth
egHesuggestedgoingoutforawalk。
注意：suggest不可以加不定式，所以上面的句子不可以这样写：
Hesuggestedtogooutforawalk.（Χ)
3）suggest+（that)+主语+(should）do+sth其中的should可以省略
eg：Hesuggestedthatyoushouldgotheretomorrow。
=Hesuggestedyougotheretomorrow。
注意，不可以这样说:Hesuggestedyoutogotheretomorrow.
也就是说suggest不可以加不定式的复合结构。
4）suggestion做主语时，其后也用这个结构：
Thesuggestionisthat+主语+should+dosth
eg：HissuggestionisthatIshouldleaveforBeijingimmediately.
IsuggestourgoingtotheparkonSunday。我建议我们星期天去公园.Thedentistsuggested
thatshe（should）comeanotherday。牙医建议她改天再来.
1．我建议你带个帐篷（tent).Isuggestyoutakeatent.
2．我建议你参观艾菲尔铁塔（EiffelTower)。IsuggestthatyouvisittheEiffelTower。
advise也有此意,比较它们用法的异同：
1）都可接名词做宾语
Shesuggested/advisedanearlystart。她建议早一点出发。
Wesuggested/advisedavisittothemuseumthenextday。
我们建议明天去参观博物馆.
2）都可接动名词做宾语
Isuggested/advisedputtingoffthesports—meet。我建议将运动会延期。
Theysuggested/advisedwaitinguntilthepropertime.他们建议(我们）等到恰当的时机才行动.
3）都可接that宾语从句，that从句用should+动词原形,should可以省略。
Shesuggested/advisedthattheclassmeeting（should）notbeheldonSaturday.
她建议班会不要在星期六举行。
Wesuggested/advisedthathe（should）goandmakeanapologytohisteacher。
我们建议他去向老师道歉。
4)advise可接动词不定式复合宾语
Iadvisedhimtogiveupthefoolishidea。=Isuggestedhis/himgivingupthefoolishidea.我建议
他放弃那愚蠢的念头。(suggest在口语里可接动名词的复合宾语）.
【advice的用法】
1.表示“建议\"、“劝告”、“忠告\"等，是不可数名词,若表示一条或几条建议或劝告,要借用
piece这样的词。如:
Thisisagoodpieceofadvice。这是一条很好的建议。
2.表示按照某人的意见做某事,一般要用介词on或by。如:
Wedidtheworkon/byheradvice.我们按她的意见做此工作。
3。表示提出建议或忠告,一般用动词give；表示向某人请教或征求意见,一般用动词ask
(for）；表示接受意见或劝告,一般用动词take，follow,accept等。如：
Theoldoftengivegoodadvicetotheyoung。老年人常常对年轻人提出金玉良言。
Youshouldaskfortheteacher’sadvice。/Youshouldasktheteacherforadvice。你应该去征
求老师的意见。
4.其后若出现that从句，通常用“should＋动词原形”这样的虚拟语气.如：
Myadviceisthathe(should)giveupsmoking.我建议他戒烟。
