英语话题写作------传统文化
教育部考试中心主任姜钢在《中国高等教育杂志》刊登的文章《坚持以立德树人为核心深化高考考试内容改革》中透露，在命题工作中更加注重“四个加强”：
加强社会主义核心价值观的考查；
加强依法治国理念的考查；
加强中国优秀传统文化的考查；
加强创新能力的考查。
以后的考试中，可能会进一步突出“中国优秀传统文化”这个方向的话题，例如中国的四大艺术琴棋书画、文房四宝、四大发明、四大名著、国粹京剧、唐诗宋词、古代建筑艺术、文化遗址、中国武术、中医中药等等，与这些相关的话题均可能是命题的重要素材。
作文话题也可能会体现“社会主义核心价值观”，比如爱国、诚实、守信等。实际上，这些也是中国民族的传统美德。还有和学生生活相关的升学、留学、申请兼职等方面话题也可能比较重要。
