Jinmao Building has Chinese traditional styles and it is also
modern. It is the signal construction of Shanghai. It is located in
the center of Lujiazui Financial Area. Our family visited Jinmao
Building today.
The traffic there is very convenient. You can got here by
tunnel and No.2 subway. And if you live near it, you can walk
there just like our family. We went to the eighty-eighth floor of
Jinmao Building. We saw the whole view of Shanghai there.
Please come to Jinmao Building, and you will get some
unexpected gains there.

Nov. 17th Sunday Fine
This morning, after finishing all my homework, I went to the
People's Park together with my classmate Mary to fly a kite. We
got a very nice kite, and it was such a lovely day. So we were sure
to have a lot of fun.
I began to fly the kite. Once it went up into the sky, I began
to run very fast, and hoped that it would go higher and higher.
Then suddenly I felt something wrong. Looking up into the sky, I
was disappointed to find that the kite had got broken. In no time
the broken kite and rope fell over me. What a fool! I sat on the
grass, feeling rather ashamed of what I had done.
Then Mary comforted me, saying, "Now, you know what
makes a kite fly high. It's patience and skills. "Yes, learned a good
lesson today.

Xiamen is a well-known tourist port city in the Southeast
coast of China. It is one of the Cleanest Cities of China, the Garden
Cities of China, the National Environmental Protection Model
Cities, and the best sightseeing cities in China. Not only being
wealthy with travel resources, Xiamen has also temperate
weather, fast and convenient transport and communication, and
complete travel establishments.
In the old times, there were "Eight Major Landscapes" and
"Eight Minor Landscapes"
"Landscapes Beyond Landscapes" in Xiamen and altogether
24 scenic spots were included in the three general terms. Some
of the 24 sights, such as "Wonderland of Gulang", "Five Old
Gentlemen Reaching the Clouds", "Watching Suise on Hongji
Summit", "Night Moon by Tiger Brook", "White Deer Spurting
Smoke", still can be traced today.
By reorganizing old landscapes and developing new
sceneries, Xiamen has formed five main Tourist areas-- Gulangyu
Island Tourist Area, Nanputuo Temple Tourist Area, Wangshi Rock
Tourist Area, Huangcuo Tourist Area and Jimei Tourist Area.
Beside its richful travel resources and pleasant weather, Xiamen
also provides fast and convenient transportation and
communication, and complete travel establishments. All makes

Anyone lucky enough to be going to Honolulu doesn’t
have to give a reason for going. They can just say, “We’re
going to Honolulu,” and imagination will take care of the rest.
Moreover, Honolulu can probably live up to and even surpass
whatever we imagine. World-famous beaches and tropical
weather set the scene for an amazing mix of pacific cultures in
this Hawaiian capital. There is a reason why Hawaii is consistently
rated as one of the nation’s top travel destinations; in fact, there
are several of them.
Waikiki Beach is the center of activity for Hawaii’s biggest
industry: tourism. This is one of the world’s greatest resort
playgrounds, featuring some of the most beautiful beaches and
hotels in the world. Visitors from all over the world flock here to
enjoy the sun, the sand and the incredible nightlife.
Besides the beaches, visitors to Honolulu can take tours of
the countryside surrounding the downtown area. These tours are
amazing, bringing visitors to some of the most beautiful
rainforests and volcanoes in the world. Animal and plant life are
abundant, and the scenery is unsurpassed. A five-minute car ride
from Honolulu brings visitors into some of Nature’s most
beautiful and awe-inspiring sights. Several museums, including
the Bishop Museum, combine exhibits on Hawaiian natural
history with lessons about history and culture of its many diverse
peoples. The Waikiki Aquarium is the third oldest public
aquarium in the United States, and it features many of Hawaii’s
most interesting sea animals.
The history of Hawaii is very rich, as the islands have always
attracted many different people. Visitors can tour the Tolani
Palace, the residence of the last of the Hawaiian monarchs. They
can also visit Honolulu’s Chinatown, which is more authentic
than many of its mainland counterparts. They can also visit the
Arizona Memorial, commemorating the destruction of the
battleship Arizona during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor
that brought America into World War II.
Honolulu exhibits the best of Hawaii in a thorough way. From
its famous beaches to its incredible natural preserves, this town
has attracted millions of people from around the world. Many of
those visitors stayed, helping to make Hawaii one of the most
diverse places to visit in the Unite States. Anyone lucky enough
to be going to Hawaii knows that he won’t be disappointed.

This week I got my job as an historian boss, and I got a great
group with Sam, Nicky, May and Winnie. Last week we didn’t
have homework , but this week we just have a little.
In reading we read a story called “ Brave Melissa”. It talks
about a little girl who saved her dog that is twice sizes of her. And
we also read a story called “ Life Saving Class” , it tells about a
kid who wanted to be an lifeguard, so he went to have classes,
but we don’t like the sight of blood.
In English we have learned types of sentences, they are
Interrogative, Exlamatory, Peclarative and Imperative sentences.
In science, we did a fun thing that we took the clay and rolled it
into an ball, we made it an falt bottom and then put a starw on
the top of it and we put it on our pules, it moved up and down!
