Academic Lecture Protocol Agreement
This Academic Lecture Protocol Agreement ("the Agreement") is
made and entered into on this [date] by and between [Name of the
Host Institution], hereinafter referred to as the "Host Institution,"
and [Name of the Lecturer], hereinafter referred to as the
"Lecturer."
1. Purpose
The purpose of this Agreement is to outline the terms and
conditions for the delivery of an academic lecture by the Lecturer
at the Host Institution.
2. Lecture Details
2.1 Title: The lecture will be titled [Title of the Lecture].
2.2 Date and Time: The lecture will be held on [Date] at [Time].
2.3 Venue: The lecture will take place at [Venue], located at
[Address].
2.4 Duration: The lecture is expected to last approximately
[Duration] minutes, followed by a Q&A session of [Duration]
minutes.
3. Responsibilities of the Host Institution
3.1 Venue Arrangements: The Host Institution will provide a
suitable venue equipped with necessary audiovisual facilities,
including but not limited to a projector, microphone, and sound
system.
3.2 Promotions: The Host Institution will be responsible for
promoting the lecture internally and externally through various
communication channels, such as newsletters, social media, and
website announcements.
3.3 Registration: The Host Institution will manage the registration
process for attendees and provide the Lecturer with a final list of
registered participants at least one week prior to the lecture.
3.4 Logistics: The Host Institution will assist the Lecturer with any
necessary logistical arrangements, including travel,
accommodation, and transportation, if required.
4. Responsibilities of the Lecturer
4.1 Lecture Content: The Lecturer will prepare and deliver the
lecture, ensuring that the content is academically rigorous, relevant,
and meaningful to the target audience.
4.2 Materials: The Lecturer will provide the Host Institution with
any necessary presentation materials or handouts at least three days
before the lecture.
4.3 Copyright: The Lecturer warrants that the content used during
the lecture does not infringe upon any copyright laws and will be
responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions to use
copyrighted material.
4.4 Professional Conduct: The Lecturer will maintain a
professional demeanor throughout the lecture, adhering to ethical
and academic standards.
5. Compensation
5.1 Honorarium: The Host Institution will pay the Lecturer an
honorarium of [Amount] for delivering the lecture. The
honorarium will be paid within five business days after the lecture.
5.2 Expenses: The Host Institution will reimburse the Lecturer for
reasonable and approved travel, accommodation, and
transportation expenses incurred in connection with the lecture.
The Lecturer must submit receipts and expense reports to the Host
Institution within 30 days after the lecture.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive
information shared during the course of this Agreement and not to
disclose it to any third party without prior written consent.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement with a written notice of
termination at least 30 days prior to the scheduled lecture date. In
the event of termination, neither party shall be held liable for any
damages or claims.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance
with the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising out of or in
connection with this Agreement will be subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the courts of [Jurisdiction].
