1What are the problems in pronunciation?
Using the wrong word;
Leaving sounds out;
Adding sounds
Putting stress on the wrong syllable in a word;
Putting stress on the wrong word in the sentence;
Using the wrong intonation pattern;
Combined problems.
2. What is our realistic goal of teaching pronunciation?
Consistency: the pronunciation should be smooth and natural.
Intelligibility: the pronunciation should be understandable to the listeners.
Communicative efficiency: the pronunciation should help convey the meaning that is intended by the speaker.
3. How to design tasks in teaching pronunciation?
Production practice: it is aimed at developing students’ ability to produce sounds.
Task 1 I can spell
cake --- gale, fame, save, rake
desk --- hem, set, less, fed
bee, peach ---beak, least, peep, seed, jeep, knee
student --- duty, music, excuse, rule
这是一道朗读的题,考查学生是否能够根据读音规则读出单词的能力。每组第一个单词即示例应该是学生熟悉的单词,其余的四个单词是生词
Task 2 Use pictures—学生描述图片
There is a little bee.                            
Coming from the apple tree.
Flying in the flowers.
And can’t see me.
Task 3 Use tongue twister
She sells sea shells on the seashore.
Five wives drank five bottles of fine wine.
Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, where is the peck of pickled peppers that Peter Piper picked?
Task 4 Make up sentences
Procedure: The students are given a group of word containing the same sound or similar sounds. They should make up sentences using as many from the given words as possible. The sentences do not have to be realistically meaningful and logical. Humorous sentences are preferred. Try to make a sentence with the words given below.

Task 5 Use meaning contexts
Procedure: The sounds to focus on are embedded in a meaningful context and students perform meaning tasks while “keeping an eye on” the sounds.
For example:
A: What’s wrong with you, Mr. Bloggs?
B: I hate the horrible job.
A: What job?
B: Washing socks.

Creating a poem
Materials: Choose some celebrities that your students may know and find some words that rhyme with their names. A good source of rhyming words for creating poems is an online rhyming dictionary such as /. See the examples below.
For example:

    122-4日,在上级部门统一安排下,初中英语学科组织了线下集中研修答疑活动。黄学军副教授分别针对“初中英语教学问题与对策”和“初中英语听评课”两个主题进行了专题讲座和教学观摩,并与参加培训的教师进行了交流讨论。
在“初中英语教学问题与对策”专题中,黄学军副教授根据学员关心的主要话题分别对初中英语教学的主要问题,英语学习过程,词汇教学的主要问题与对策,语法教学过程,听说教学过程以及教学活动组织等进行了分析。黄老师提出,在英语教学,特别是词汇和语法教学中,一定要尊重语言学习的客观规律与过程,避免大量孤立地讲解,只关注词义和用法,而忽视方法和策略指导和语境创设。黄老师随后又对初中英语词汇和语法教学,听说教学和课堂活动设计与组织提出了具体的建议。讲座后的Q&A过程中,参训学员就讲座内容进行了积极的讨论,同时结合自己的教学实践提出了许多具体问题。黄老师对学员所提问题进行了一一解答。
